"We'd be lost without the Autism Network."

Neely Family Testimonial

"We thought we had run out of options. Nobody in East Texas seemed to be able to help. We were desperate and thought we'd have to go to Dallas to get help. Then we heard about Parent Services Center's Autism Network. Things started happening when we met Autism Network Coordinator Julee Renfroe. Julee was just fantastic. She was the first person that would sit down and listen to me. She steered me in the right direction to have Nolan diagnosed and get the therapy that he needs. She is still there to help with any other problems that may arise. We'd be lost without the Autism Network." -- T.H.

"This community is blessed to have an organization like the Autism Network."

"Around age 4, our son was diagnosed with Pervasive Development Disorder, Sensory Integration Disorder and a speech impairment. He was very high-functioning yet he was on the "Autism Spectrum." It sounded scary and outside of the help he received from school, my husband and I weren't sure how we could help him. The Autism Network was able to help us get advice and guidance from very skilled and experienced professionals. With their guidance, we found the appropriate therapists and doctors for our son. The Network also helped to navigate the school system and determine what our rights are as parents of a special-needs child. And, they also gave - quite generously - phone support and referrals. Their monthly support group meeting also placed us in contact with other parents of children on the spectrum. This was not only a great source of support, but proved to be very informative as well. This community is blessed to have an organization like the Autism Network to help the confused parents of children who suffer with this confusing disorder. Thank you so much." --R.A.

"We have felt so lost until Autism Network gave us hope and direction."--L.J.

"Without Autism Network we would have been in the dark. Since early intervention is key to helping autism I recommend The Autism Network to anyone dealing with Autism." --C.H.
